01.
ANGER AND THE FAMILY/CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
Angry comes in many forms. Some say that dedicated Christians
should never become angry or lose their temper. Many Christians
hide emotions or even deny they experience feelings of anger. The
fact is that dedicated Christians do experience anger as humans
are made to have emotion. While having emotion and even anger,
these are natural God-given responses, but what is most important
is how we use those responses. When anger is not resolved or channeled
properly, it can lead to negative outcomes. The majority of mental
and emotional stress leads to depression or anxiety. Many times
this is directly related to anger. When anger is not properly dealt
with, one’s life can become unhealthy and spiritually deficient.
On the other side of this emotion, a careful examination of Biblical
evidence shows that anger, while frequently negative, can be a
positive tool for the dissemination truth and righteousness. Learn
how to handle anger responsibly by defining, evaluating, and showing
causes for anger. Also, explore and expose anger myths. Instructor’s
Guide available.

NORTHWEST MEN’S CONFERENCE
As
you look at world history, you see how ordinary men were used to
invade enemy strong holds and how miraculous victories took place
as in Normandy in 1944. In the Bible we see how ordinary men like
Joshua, Caleb, and Gideon accomplished “impossible” missions.
Even the history of the Bible itself contains remarkable events
completed by seemingly ordinary people.
At this conference, ordinary men will come
from around the country and converge as an invasion force that
serves a greater King, against a great foe, for the greatest cause.
The objective is to rescue
men from bondage and to see them released through Christ and restored
to God’s image.
Men,
you are being called to active duty. Come to get equipped for service
